Warty Barberry

Western China. Very valuable and frost-hardy, reaching 1.50-2 m in height, an evergreen, slow-growing and densely growing shrub with sprawling curved branches. The leaves are small, only up to 2.5 cm long, with 2-4 spines on each side, glossy green. Some turn bright red in autumn. Flowers golden-yellow.
