Columnar Gleditsia

Developed by selective breeding in 1957. A medium-sized tree, 20-25 m in height and up to 7 m in width at maturity. A pyramidal-growing tree with ascending branches. Lower branches are horizontal, becoming slightly pendulous with age, but not as widely as in other Gleditsia varieties.
