A red-leaved cultivar of the Norway maple with a pleasant red color; produces very good annual shoot growth; Habit: a medium-sized tree, broadly conical, irregularly sparse, less vigorous than other varieties, but faster than other red-leaved cultivars; up to 12 m in height. Leaves 5-lobed, up to 18 cm, lighter red than other red-leaved cultivars; conspicuous flowers appear before the leaves unfold.
