Coral-barked maple

An upright shrub, about 4-6 m in height. Young shoots are bright coral-colored, especially conspicuous in winter. Leaves are 5-7-lobed, deeply divided, leaf margins serrate; leaves are light green, with a slightly pinkish tint when unfolding. Autumn coloration is orange-red or light red.
