Bird cherry

Europe, from Northern Asia to Korea and Japan. A native tree reaching 10-15 m in height with a dense crown and slightly pendulous branches. Flowers white, fragrant, 1-1.5 cm in diameter, 15-20 in loose, hanging racemes from April to May. They are visited by bees.
