Grows in the western USA in the state of Colorado. A fast-growing, late-budding, tree with branches from the ground, 25 (-40) m in height, with a pyramidal crown and horizontally growing whorled branches. Sickle-shaped, upward-pointing needles - 40 (-60) mm in length, with a blue-green bloom.
