Spiral fir

Occurs in Japan. A very uniformly conical tree, reaching 40 m in height, here 20-30 m, with gray scaly bark. Very dense foliage in several rows, bright green above, dazzling white beneath. Fir cones are 7-10 cm long and 3-4 cm thick.
