The form, found in France in 1819, also grows well in Finland and Sweden. A tree reaching 15–20 m in height and 6 m in width. Bark dark brown-black. Young shoots slightly sticky, glabrous. Leaves up to 10 cm long and up to 6 cm wide, bluntly lobed; the lobes themselves are blunt or pointed. Especially well suited for planting in avenues and parks. \r\n\r\n
