Service tree

Occurs in Central and Southern Europe, North Africa and Asia Minor. The service tree is a slow-growing tree 10-15 m in height, with a broad (rounded) crown. Leaves alternate, pinnate, upper surface matte green, slightly felted, turning yellow or yellow-orange in autumn. Branches at first gray-felted, later bare, reddish-brown.
