Moss oak

Occurs in Southern Europe and Asia Minor. In the Southern Alps on carbonate and primary rocks on stony slopes. A tree 25 (-35) m in height and 10-20 m in width with a broadly conical crown, a single trunk and ascending or horizontally arranged branches; in old age more spreading.
