Katsura

Japan. In its native range up to 30 m, here usually only up to 15 m in height and 5-7 (-8) m in width, often a multi-stemmed tree or a vigorous shrub with an open, broad, pyramidal crown. Reddish-brown or carmine glossy shoots.
