Tall aralia

Northeast Asia. 5-7 m tall, an unusually growing tropical tree, often multi-stemmed, or a shrub with thick branches, spines and large, up to 1 m long, bipinnate leaves. A very striking solitary plant for rich soil and sunny sites. A magnificent exotic plant for gardens and parks.
