Serviceberry

Of the 25 species of this genus, some of which are difficult to distinguish from one another, one is found in Europe and Asia Minor and one in East Asia; all the others are native to North America. These are deciduous, often multi-stemmed shrubs or trees with very attractive shoots, most often bronze-colored, and simple leaves. Excellent shrubs for group or individual plantings.
