White cornel

Grows in the mountains and broad-leaved forests in the Caucasus and the Far East

Shrub 1.5 m tall. Leaves opposite, ovate, with parallel venation. Flowers small, sessile, greenish-yellow, arranged in heads. Fruit - a drupe, yellow, sour-sweet, with an oblong stone. Blooms in April - May. Fruits in August - September.
