Acer saccharinum 'Aureum'

Back to catalogue

Slow-growing shrub with a funnel-shaped or broadly rounded crown, most often with a short trunk. In our latitudes its height rarely exceeds 4 m, and mature plants are about as wide as they are tall. The bark of young branches has a bluish-green bloom. Leaves are 9-11-lobed, doubly serrated, light yellow or greenish-yellow in color. It should be planted only in partially shaded locations, as the leaves do not tolerate intense sunlight.
